Inspiring Students, One Robot At A Time

The Deltabots, a dedicated group of fifth-grade students from Cypress Ridge Elementary, are one of only 20 elementary school teams from Florida to achieve the opportunity to compete in the World Robotics Competition in Louisville, KY.

Cypress Ridge Elementary School is a public STEM magnet school. Four of the school’s robotic teams qualified to compete in the 2017-2018 State Championships and one, the Deltabots, qualified for this year’s VEX IQ Challenge on April 29- May 1 in Louisville.

The competition will include 400 elementary school teams from all around the world competing for the top honor.  Being one of only 20 elementary school teams representing Florida at the event is an INCREDIBLE honor.

The students need community support through contributions and sponsorships to assist with travel, lodging and meal expenses for the students and their guardians to travel to Louisville for the 3-day event. All sponsors who donate a $100 or more will be eligible to have their logo displayed on the school website and printed on the back of the team shirts for the thousands of participants and spectators at the event to see.

In addition to the shirt and website logo, sponsors who donate $250 or more will be thanked with their logo on a banner displayed at the front of the school along East Avenue for the thousands of passersby to see daily.

Each and every donation will help make this trip a success.
