The Clermont Police Department in partnership with Chili’s Grill and Bar will host a TIP-A-COP fundraiser event for the Special Olympics Florida organization from 5 pm-9 pm on Wednesday, February 28.
Special Olympics Florida provides year-round sports training and competition to children and adults with intellectual disabilities, at no cost to the athlete or their caregiver as a means to achieve physical fitness, self-esteem and the life skills necessary to be productive, respected and contributing members of their communities. Fundraiser(s) like Tip-A-Cop help with these respective resources.
Your local Police Chief Charles Broadway and several of his officers will be working in conjunction with restaurant staff to assist in seating patrons, and serving meals. Chili’s Grill & Bar will donate a percentage of food sales to the Special Olympics Florida program. Patrons will be presented a flyer when they are seated that they will redeem upon ordering their meal.
