Coffee with the Mayor was recently held at Urban Attic – Downtown Marketplace, a shop filled with unique items. Urban Attic, located at 639 8thSt. Clermont, was a delightful, cozy setting for coffee and conversation.

At Home, A Home Decor Superstore, former K-Mart location (estimated opening this summer).
Clermont Herb Shoppe has moved from Montrose to a larger shop at 624 West Hwy 50, Clermont, providing expanded retail and professional services including Jennifer Green Massage.
College Station is a commercial development, located at the southwest corner of Hancock Road and State Road 50 (next to Chick-Fil-A). The 11,000 sq. ft. Complex will house restaurants and multiple retail and professional spaces (Est. openings summer/fall)

Clermont Brewing Co. – Coming to 750 W DeSoto Street. (opening winter of 2018)
Corelli’s Restaurant, located in the K-Mart Shopping Center, is opening a second shop in Downtown Clermont at 732 Montrose, next to Moonlight Players.
Florida Angler, a fishing outfitter, will be opening on Montrose St. this Fall (Merchandise and lessons available.)
RusTeak Restaurant– Coming to the location next to Lilly’s on the Lake. Opening Date TBD.
Solid Rock Martial Arts Academy will be located on 8th Street. Grand Opening scheduled May 26
Suncreek Brewery, Savory Deli, and Michael’s Ali Coal Fired Pizza, located on West Minneola Avenue in Downtown Clermont, will open in mid-July.

Bed & Breakfast w/Boutique at 550 West Street (formerly Pasta Vino Restaurant). Currently in the planning stages.
Victory Pointe Condos – a 17-unit condominium complex overlooking Victory Pointe. Located at the intersection of Montrose and 10. Groundbreaking tentatively scheduled by end of year. Preselling units at $350,000 -$375,000 (subject to change).
VP Skytop – a restaurant with wine and bourbon bar /rooftop lounge. The business will be constructed on property located at 752 W. Montrose (Engel & Volker /across from Hanks Electric). It’s in the planning stages. Groundbreaking by end of year.
Woodwinds Apartments (affordable housing) will begin accepting applications this month. The Woodwinds Community will provide 96 affordable 1,2,3 bedroom apartments. New Beginnings of Central Florida broke ground nearly a year ago on the 10-acre site on South Grand Highway near the intersection of Citrus Tower Boulevard. Keep checking the website for updates.
