Woman's Club Fashion Models

The Clermont Woman’s Club hosted its 2018 Winter Wonderland Fashion Show and Luncheon on Saturday, October 20th at the Wesley Center at the First United Methodist Church on 7th St, Clermont. Chef David U. Earl and staff of the Wesley Center catered the delicious luncheon.

The business community played an important part in the success of the club’s major fundraiser by providing sponsorships, donations, and auction items.

A surprised Pat Moore was a silent auction winner!

Items included raffle gifts arranged in beautiful white wooden sleighs made by 85-year-old Gerald Wilson. Mr. Wilson is a friend of Ann Banks, a member of the Woman’s Club. The Woman’s Club recognized Mr. Banks and the great joy he finds in using his woodworking skills to spread the love of Jesus. There were free door prizes, lots of silent auction items, each valued at over $100, and a coveted card tree valued at over $400.

Attendees had the opportunity to purchase fashions from Accessories and More, modeled by members of the Woman’s Club.

Proceeds from the event will go to support local South Lake charities, scholarships, and organizations.

Many of the members of Beta Theta-Clermont, ESA, another local philanthropic organization, attended the event in support of the Woman’s Club’s efforts.

Save the Date: Beta Theta will be holding its 15thMardi Gras Celebration on February 23. For further details on the upcoming event, visit Mardi Gras.
