You won’t want to miss the Clermont Performing Arts Center’s (CPAC) special December lineup.

Two-holiday shows, an Emmy-winning producer and Clermont’s first-ever dueling piano show are coming to Lake County’s largest event venue this month. Mark your calendars and invite your friends and family for some fun at the CPAC, 3700 S. U.S. Highway 27.

“You Are There Hosted by Charlie Grinker: The 1930s – The World Turned Upside Down,” is 2 pm, December 13 at the Black Box Theater. Emmy award-winning producer Charlie Grinker shares some of history’s most fascinating moments of the 1930s. It’s history like you’ve never heard it before. Switching between personal anecdotes and film clips of some of his most riveting interviews, Mr. Grinker talks about growing up with James Garner, Julia Child, Neil Simon and so much more. Tickets are $10.75.

“Dueling Pianos,” 8 pm, December 14 at the Mainstage, is Clermont’s inaugural show of its kind. We’re turning the theater into a piano bar for a high-energy night that’s part rock show, part comedy show and all sorts of fun rolled into one big outrageous party. The audience becomes part of the show in a request-driven sing-along, dance-along, thump-the-tables-along extravaganza! CPAC sold so many tickets that it moved the venue from the Black Box Theater to the Mainstage. Bring your requests, bring your fun and bring tips for the piano guys. It’s sure to be a fun night for all. Tickets are $15.

“A Sleeping Beauty Christmas,” 3 pm,  December 15 at the Mainstage, is an original musical based on the classic fairytale, complete with a holiday twist. The King and Queen throw a huge Christmas party to celebrate the birth of their daughter. But they forget to invite the land’s most powerful sorceress, and a dark spell is cast over the palace. Don’t worry, the kingdom comes back to life in this journey of love and hope. It truly is a magical holiday show. Tickets start at $12 for adults, $7.49 for kids.

“Sleigh,” 3 pm December 22 at the Mainstage, is a physical comedy told without dialogue, but rather with exaggerated movement and sound effects. Think Charlie Chaplin meets Looney Toons meets Pixar. A young couple tackles their first Christmas together, a pair of shopkeepers redefine rivalry, and a trio of mail carriers fight outrageous obstacles to make a delivery. You’ll be laughing your way through the holidays. Tickets start at $12 for adults, $7.49 for kids.
