The City of Clermont can boast of a healthy business growth

121 new businesses opened in the City of Clermont, 32 new businesses in the Downtown area in 2017

140 new businesses opened in the City of Clermont, 44 new businesses in the Downtown are in 2018


Below are some of the recently opened or coming to Clermont Businesses

 SR 50

Aldi’s Grocery Store will be located near Target (Clermont will now have two Aldi’s in Clermont)

Bella Italian Bakery is expected to open in February next to Beef O’Brady’s. The bakery will be using generational recipes and baking onsite

Cubesmart – a 20,000 square-foot residential, self-storage facility, located on 5.75+ acres of land on the southeast corner of Hancock Road and Trade Avenue. (opening in the spring)

Dan Newlin Law Office-opening late February on Hwy 50

Fifty West – Class A office space with retail and rooftop restaurant coming soon. Fifty West will open in the fall of 2019 (between Toyota and Bluewater Car Wash). This site will be the first building to be constructed out of Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) and wrapped in glass creating a space like no other in the region. The building designed locally by Powell Studio Architecture.

Five Guys – located at Hancock and Rte. 50, near First Watch, is expected to open in March (now hiring)

Green Mountain Pizza opening at Sunnyside Plaza, Clermont. Expected to open in March.

Mind Masters Escape Room  –. Opening in early spring. A great office team building or family experience. Located on East Highway 50, Clermont (located by Modern Orthodontics).

Paradise Grill – Located at the Magnolia Center. Opening in February/March

WaWa will be coming to Hwy 50/Emil Jahna.


Hwy 27               

Burgerim Restaurant to open at Clermont Landing near Epic Theater.

Dunkin Donuts  –  located near Citrus Tower and Hwy 27 (near Chick-fil-A).  Expected to open in summer 2019

Growler Orlando West, a microbrewery located at Clermont Landing (near Aldi). It offers 100 taps of craft beer, as well as hard cider and wine and a full pub food menu. (just opened)

Planet Fitness is coming to Hwy 27 by Anderson Hill Road in March. The building will be completely refurbished. There will be several businesses/restaurants lining 27 at that location.

Rita’s Italian Ice, Clean Eats and Smoothie King are possible  open at Anderson Hill Rd. and Rte. 27 in March

 

 

Publix at the Citrus Tower is undergoing a rehab. When completed, it will feature an inside dining area and other enhancements.


DOWNTOWN CLERMONT

Clermont Brewing Co. – Coming to 750 W DeSoto Street. Construction has begun. (Opening March/April). The CBC will offer onsite brewed craft beer, artisanal food, and live entertainment. It will have covered porches complete with furniture groupings and fire pits, a beautiful backyard and a  fully air-conditioned tap room.

Clermont Cafe – formerly Lyn’s Ice Cream and Deli located at 824 West Montrose, Clermont.

Corellis Italian Restaurant and Corelli’s Pantry has opened a third location at 763 W. Montrose Street. It will offer cookies, gelato, pignoli, macaroons and more.

Las Reyes Mexican Grille (658 West Avenue), expected to open in February

Mac’d Out– located inside the Suncreek Brewery (790 West Montrose), which also houses Michael Ali’s Oven Fired Pizza, and Savoree. (recently opened)

Montrose Market,  located on the corner on Montrose and 8thStreet, will open soon.  It will house Sir Benji Donuts, More Than Cheese, Back to Basics. Oxygen Bar, Golden Hills Coffee and Tea, a Clothing Boutique, Sodu Sushi, Jour de Crepe, Box Grill, Roaster’s Café, Twisted Flavors Baked Bar, as well as a wine bar. Planned for March opening

(Rusteak Restaurant and Wine Bar has decided not to join the Clermont Downtown businesses)


New Projects:

Lakes of Clermont, a skilled nursing facility, located at Hooks and Citrus Tower Blvd. is expected to open soon.

The Addison – Apartments are being built at Hooks and Citrus Tower (across from the nursing facility). Coming soon.
