The City of Clermont is holding its second annual free Cycle & Seek Bicycle Scavenger Hunt from 12 pm to 3 pm on March 23, starting and finishing at Waterfront Park, 330 3rd St.

Take part in a scavenger hunt to explore downtown Clermont by bike. All levels and types of riders are encouraged to participate.

“We’re excited to bring this fun signature event back for the second year,” City Manager Darren Gray said. “This is a great way to showcase many of Clermont’s new and established businesses in our bicycle-friendly downtown.”

Teams of two to four people will discover unique local businesses and exciting details about the City of Clermont. The Clermont Triathlon Club has donated 25 new kids helmets to participants while supplies last.

Win prizes for fastest teams and best-decorated bikes. Plus, don’t miss the after party at the Highlander Pavilion at Waterfront Park with a DJ.

The event path spans the Downtown Waterfront area, as well as Lake Hiawatha Preserve. Each stop will have either a clue or an activity. Get some exercise, enjoy the outdoors and take in historical and scenic views while taking pictures and testing your knowledge of downtown.

Gather your friends and family and register at www.ClermontFL.gov/events beforehand or the day of the event starting at 11 am, March 23 in the Highlander Pavilion. Bring your own bikes.

Don’t miss out, as it’s sure to be even bigger and better than last year. It’s as simple as riding a bike! For information, visit www.ClermontFL.gov/events or call 352-708-5975.
