On September 5, a fire started in building 5 at East Ridge High School which houses the music department. The students lost instruments and other items as well.
Family Jewelry and Pawn owner Shawn McNiel heard the devastating news and immediately donated not only a check but all the musical instruments in both her stores.
Shawn has also promised that any musical instruments donated till the end of October 2019 to either Family Jewelry and Pawn locations will be given directly to the school.
