Ritter’s Frozen Custard has been earning numerous awards and positive community spirit here in Clermont since 2016. Ritter’s Frozen Custard Restaurant got started here in Clermont when Tammy McCoy moved here as a prominent business consultant and co-owner investor. She wanted a business where she could get her entire family involved while being home more often with the children. Ritter’s became the perfect solution for her and her co-owner partner, Tamara Bills McCoy!

Premium Quality Frozen Custard: Frozen Custard is another name for what most 
Americans call “French Vanilla Ice Cream”. The French developed a way to improve standard ice cream over 100 years ago by reducing the butterfat and adding a small amount of pasteurized eggs. This method results in much less fat than ice creams. Ritter’s Frozen Custard is very smooth and creamy tasting, as they make it with less air. Most traditional ice cream uses an increased amount of whipped in air or ‘overrun’ to the mix, creating a less dense product. Frozen custard has less than 25% of the whipped in overrun used in normal ice creams, so you can experience a rich, dense and creamy taste in every bite. Clermont & South Lake Community Services: Ritter’s of Clermont has two trailers and a portable cold plate cart that doesn’t require electricity to offer on-site services for pool parties, community events, school events, sports events, fundraisers and for any event you want their catering services at your location. Local schools love Ritter’s support! Ritter’s has always supported our local community. They raised over $10,000 to help Pulse Nightclub victims.
