Spend an evening under the stars at the 9th Annual Taste of South Lake & Business Expo on Thursday, November 7, from 5 pm – 8:30 pm at Clermont’s Waterfront Park. With an emphasis on local food and drink, Taste of South Lake will provide an opportunity for guests to truly get a taste of what South Lake has to offer.
“This event is an affordable way for the community to taste specialty entrees, drinks, appetizers and desserts from the best restaurants in South Lake,” notes South Lake Chamber of Commerce President & CEO David Colby, adding, “We invite everyone to discover new and established restaurants while meeting some of the most innovative business leaders from our area.”
In addition to the more than 60 restaurants and businesses, attendees can sit back, relax and enjoy the music of local favorite, Rob Nichols. Nichols, a country star with South Lake roots, has played many of the venues on Music Row as well as the hundreds of Honky Tonks and Music Fests throughout the Southeast.
The evening also includes a friendly “best of” competition where restaurants compete to win the best appetizer, entrée, dessert, and drink, while all booths compete for the best-decorated booth. Attendees can also make their voices heard by voting for their favorite dish of the evening in our “People’s Choice” category.
