Minneola School House Library.

Winter Programs for the Kids

Children of all ages are invited to chill out at the library in January with a variety of cool programs tailor-made for some wintertime fun. Just because we live in Central Florida doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy the blustery themes of winter.

Tuesday, January 7 from 4-5 pm

The entire family can warm up to cozy reading sessions at the library with our PAWS therapy dogs. PAWS Therapy Dogs provide compassionate canine community service work by visiting libraries, schools, senior centers and nursing homes. Children, teens and adults can hang out, pet and read a book with these trained therapy pups.

Thursday, January 9 from 4:00 -5:00 pm

School-age children and little ones will have fun making snowflake crafts and creating Winter Wonderland art.

Friday, January 17 – 11:00 am

Story Time resumes featuring plenty of seasonal storytimes, including tales about snowmen, penguins and polar bears, oh my!
