Rosa Marie Gorum Sullivan, age 85 of DeFuniak Springs, died Wednesday, December 4, 2019, at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, Florida.
Rosa was a P.E. teacher and cheerleader sponsor at Clermont High School for over thirty years. She is predeceased by her husband of fifty years, William “Bill” Sullivan, a former vice-principal at Clermont High School.
Rosa is survived by four sons; William L. (Joan). John C. (Rebecca), Marc W. (Kristin) and Phillip G. (Cheri). Seven grandchildren, Wesley (Christina), Emily, Matthew, Jason, William, Noah and Ashley. Her great-grandson, Owen. Her sister, Margaret (Larry) Sanders, her sister-in-law Vera Tillett, niece Angela Sanders and nephews David (Morgan) Sanders, Sidney and Michael (Julie) Tillett. and two special great-nephews, Oscar and Foster Sanders and great-niece Sutton Sanders.
Memorials may be made in Rosa Sullivan’s memory to the American Diabetes Association, the Alzheimers Foundation of America or the charity of one’s choice. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 4 at 2 pm at the First United Methodist Church in Clermont.
