Clermont Police are investigating a report of an armed robbery and kidnapping that occurred in the 100 Block of East Minnehaha Avenue, Clermont, Florida.
At approximately 1:03 am, Clermont Police Officers received a report from the victim, a 54-year-old male, who stated that he had been robbed and sexually battered. The victim stated that at approximately 12:00 am, he was approached by two suspects while he was in the parking lot in this area. The suspects, described as two white males, one with a gauge-style earring and both smelling of cigars approached him near his vehicle. One suspect produced what appeared to be a small black pistol and forced the victim into his vehicle. The victim was forced to drive them to an unknown wooded area where they robbed him of approximately $14. One suspect also sexually battered the victim before both fled on foot. The victim then drove himself to a medical facility in Leesburg to receive treatment for undisclosed injuries.
