A line of hundreds of cars stretched from Hwy 50 to FNC and beyond waiting for food to be distributed.
The FAITH Neighborhood Center (FNC), located at 14727 Timber Village Road in Groveland, was founded in 1972 and has been in continuous operation since opening. The Center has grown to over 100 dedicated volunteers. However, during the COVID-19 pandemic, there are more people in need and more volunteers needed to help.
Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida delivered 35,000 pounds of meat, produce, bread, canned goods, juice and milk to FAITH Neighborhood Center (FNC). Volunteers distribute the food. The South Lake Food Drop served 376 families in one day. Those families represented 1,719 South Lake residents and 736 children. For additional information, Visit https://backup.sltablet.com
