Groveland Masonic Lodge #190 F&AM, located at 320 E. Jim Payne Rd., has a long history of community service, dating back to March 14, 1909 when a group of Masonic Brothers met in the town of Mascotte to see if there was enough interest to establish a Masonic Lodge in Mascotte. In 1918, the organization moved its Charter from Mascotte to Taylorville, Florida (now Groveland) and in 1925 the Lodge’s name was changed to Groveland Lodge No. 190 F&AM.
The Worshipful Master Kirk Mugler and Junior Deacon Jim Johnson recently presented Florida Gulf Coast University student A’zhane Faulknor a $500.00 scholarship for the upcoming school year.
Miss Faulknor is majoring in Resorts and Hospitality.
“The Lodge is very proud of Faulkner’s academic record and is pleased to make this its second
scholarship presentation to her”, said Junior Deacon Jim Johnson.
A great job by yet another South Lake High School Graduate and a great job by the Groveland Masonic Lodge.
