Lisa Harris, President and Kathy Henderson, Show Director of the South Lake Art League (SLAL) announced the winners of the new Fall 2020 Art Show, celebrating five separate categories of fine art. The South Lake Art League started its year with an opening reception and Art Show.

- Joshua Neil earned first place for Cranes In The Headlights
- Kathy Henderson earning second place for Feed Me
- Joe Diaz earned third place honors for Nature Reserve.
Pastel & Colored Pencil Category:

- Chede McKinney earned second place for Old Tractor
- Linda Hansee earned third place for Summer Wildflowers.
In the Mixed Media, Collage & Zentangle Category:

- Althea Marcano earned first place for The Entertainer
- Virginia McCurdy earned second and third place for Floral Reflections and Serenity Pond.
In the Watercolor / Water-based Pen & Inks Category:
Kitty Adler earned first, second and third place honors to sweep this category with Nitia’s Winter Walnuts, The Gathering, and Fall Blueberries.

Membership Benefits: All local artists are welcomed to join the South Lake Art League. Each year, the Clermont art gallery offers members two art shows in the spring and fall and two fine art photography shows. Member websites are linked to the SLAL website. Members receive discounted fees on special workshops and classes. Their Photography Club offers valuable photo instructional meetings. SLAL members are encouraged to volunteer to help with various projects, activities, and gallery sitting. There are also special sponsorship opportunities.
The South Lake Art League strives to promote all forms of art and art appreciation throughout the south Lake County area. The members bring together people interested in the arts and provide opportunities for participation in classes, workshops and shows. They offer art classes in acrylics, colored pencils, drawing, mixed media, oils, pastels, fine art photography, Zentangle and watercolor and other art-related events.
