Share Your Christmas food distribution is set for Wednesday, December 9 from 7 am to 10 am. Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida (feedhopenow.org) is providing two semitrailers filled with food for South Lake County residents. The drop will be hosted at Hope International Church (gohopechurch.com) 13806 FL-33, Groveland, FL 34736.
FAITH Neighborhood Center (faithneighborhoodcenter.com) and Well Of Hope Food Bank (wellofhope-thriftstore.com) are presenting this food distribution. They and other local charities and groups will be on hand to help safely and efficiently distribute the tons of food. Groveland Police Department will be providing volunteer support to help maintain traffic control and flow.
WESH-TV channel 2 from Orlando will be on hand all morning to videotape and document this food distribution. The footage will be part of an ongoing program “Share Your Christmas”.
