Rabbi Moshe, Chavi and baby Mendel Dubinsky are the newest Chabad Emissaries of the Chabad Lubavitch movement to open a new center in South Lake County, Florida!
Chabad Lubavitch is the largest and fastest-growing Jewish outreach organization globally, numbering over 5,500 Rabbis worldwide from New Zealand to the UAE. Based on the principle of “Love your fellow as yourself,” the Dubinskys are excited to roll up their sleeves and get to work by implementing their years of training and love for people right here in South Lake County. We can’t wait to get out and embrace every Jew regardless of background, nationality, race, or gender. This includes simply caring and helping people, Jewish or not Jewish in any way we can,” said Rabbi Dubinsky.
“Our vision is to offer genuine, stimulating and engaging Judaism, in a creatively modern and relevant manner, but, of course, with all the joy Chabad has to offer!” says Rabbi Dubinsky.
We accept all Jews, regardless of background or level of observance and aim to provide a warm Chabad community in a non-judgemental environment.
We are humbled by the warm welcome we have already received and are honored to serve the Jewish community,” said Rabbi Moshe Dubinsky.
With Chabad’s focus on core values and personal growth within a family-oriented atmosphere, it is no wonder that the pride of the Shluchim-emissaries begins with the children. “We are delighted to raise Mendel in the environment of “shlichus” oriented sharing and for him to begin his journey in life helping others,” says Chavi Konikov.
While we are dedicated to the spiritual and social needs of local Jews of all ages with much emphasis on Jewish education, we place great focus on the growth of Jewish education for children at all levels. Our hope is that this will inspire the community to explore their heritage and strengthen their Jewish connection,” said Chavi Dubinsky.
As the holiday of Chanukah is fast approaching, the Dubinskys are excited to announce that they will be hosting a Chanukah celebration in an outdoor socially distanced setting for the entire community. The event will take place at Trailhead Park in Minneola and will be graced with the presence of First Responders. They are looking forward to connecting with the community at this exciting celebration of the ‘Festival of Lights!’
