On a rainy spring day, Dunkin’ brought rays of sunshine to Clermont with its fresh donuts, great service, masks, gloves, happy staff and safe social distancing protocols.
The South Lake Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors hosted the ribbon-cutting. Mayor Tim Murry and numerous local dignitaries were in attendance to celebrate the opening. Gifts, prizes and photo opportunities with Sprinkles (the Dunkin mascot) made for a very fun day.
Something Fresh Is Always Brewin’! The new Clermont Dunkin’ menu offers a complete menu of bakery items including freshly made donuts, bagels, muffins, fritters, coffees, lattes, espressos, macchiatos and teas as well as a wide variety of fancy hot, cold and frozen drinks. Dunkin’ offers a complete range of all-day breakfast sandwiches and side dishes. They offer a complete DD Perks Rewards Program with their special On The Go App. They offer eat-in, take-out and drive through services.
Saks Group: The newest, local Dunkin’ is owned and operated by the Saks Associates Group. Franchisee Manoj Prasad notes, “We have been happily associated with serving our local South Lake Community for over 15 years. Our first local Dunkin was located on East Highway 50 in Clermont in the At Home Shopping Center. Our newest and 6th South Lake location at 3299 South Highway 27 in Clermont is at the intersection of Citrus Tower Boulevard and Hwy 27. Our vision is to not only serve the local community but to create new employment opportunities in our Clermont and South Lake area within our diversified group. We will support other local small businesses by taking advantage of their services and products to create our own successful operations. This growing network currently generates over 125 employment opportunities directly as well as others indirectly. We are very fortunate to have Rick Saborido as a distinguished member of our community. He heads up the operations for our entire Central Florida network. We take immense pride in having Dunkin’ serve the South Lake Chamber of Commerce by offering our services as a Trustee Member.”
Prasad continues, “Our vision is for our operations to always provide a clean, safe and modern facility with quality food as a valued proposition for our guests. We also take pride in thriving to provide our services and products to meet the expectations of our guests.” Saks Associates network currently has 20 store locations in Central Florida with 6 here in Lake County. The General Manager of this newest Clermont location is Delaney Warters and the District Manager is Iche Joseph.
Rick Saborido has been in the Clermont area for over 20 years. He shares, “My wife has been a realtor in Clermont for over 15 years. All four of my sons went through our schools here locally. I came to Dunkin Corporate in 2013 as Director of Operations for North Florida and moved to this network in late 2016 to run the operations.” Saborido is a Board Member for the South Lake Chamber. He adds, “We have built a tremendous relationship our Chamber and with several local charities including Kiwanis and New Beginnings. We are always trying to support other local small businesses. Saks now has over 125 employees in Lake County and they are always looking for new talent.”
