Kiwanis Club of Clermont welcomed Brian Broadway founder of Find, Feed & Restore to a recent meeting. A check was presented to him to recognize and support the work and dedication that he and his volunteers are doing for the homeless.
Brian Broadway briefly described how Find, Feed & Restore gives hope to the homeless.
The program provides families with children to live rent and utilities free for 6-12 months while offering budgeting classes, career assistance and mentoring. The organization provides the foundation necessary for families with children to develop and grow in a stable environment.
Broadway explained the three effective and strategic methods to help homeless families:
- Housing First (no-cost housing for 6-12 months),
- Permanent Housing Solutions (affordable housing for working families),
- Homelessness Avoidance (temporary assistance covering rent/mortgage/utility assistance for struggling families).
The program provides a stable, caring, and growth environment to families that includes food, shelter, career development, computer training, and job placement assistance.
Coming Soon:
Lake Hope (Sports Camp). The Lake Hope facility is located in Groveland on 11 acres. The organization is looking to close on this site in the latter part of May 2021.
Broadway proudly mentioned that FIND, FEED & RESTORE has housed and brought over 115 families to total independence.
