On Saturday, April 22, 2021, the Clermont Garden Club participated in the Earth Day 2021 Celebration.  The event was held at the Lake Hiawatha Preserve Park.
Clermont Garden Club members Lisa Palermo, Pam Molesky, and Linda Laulette handed out Milkweed Seeds to community members and provided information on how beneficial these native milkweed plants are to the life cycle for the Monarch Butterflies and its pollinators.  Native milkweed plants, including Butterfly Weed, are the sole host plants for monarch butterflies. Best of all, Milkweed produces gorgeous, fragrant flowers that are easy to care for,
Clermont Garden Club meets every third Wednesday of the month, (except holiday luncheon, scheduled field trips, and end of the year luncheon) at the Clubhouse located at 849 West Avenue in downtown Clermont, beginning at 10:00 a.m.  New members and guests are always welcomed.
