On the morning of Tuesday, September 11, 2001, a series of four coordinated terrorist attacks by the Islamic terrorist group al-Qaeda against the United States was a wake-up call to Americans. Today, 20 years after the attack, we remember those who lost their lives and the heroes of 9/11.
Many of us vividly recall where we were at the exact time we learned of the attacks. It was a tragic day that should never be forgotten.
