Looking for your immigrant ancestors? Keith Breedlove will present a lesson on naturalization records on Zoom. This presentation will start with a short description of the USCIS Genealogy Program, then list the types of records one may find, and describe the different file types and their potential content. Keith will speak to you about the research request process, give you research advice and explain how to request copies of any documents you may find.
Presenter: Keith Breedlove Retired from the Army 22 years ago. In 2017, he worked on a contract with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) Genealogy Program. This program addresses requests for immigration and naturalization documents for immigrants to the United States from about 1850 to near-present day. The presentation will take place on October 14 at 6 pm. Zoom opens at 5:30 pm for announcements. The event is free of charge and open to the public.
