From the Clermont Police Department
The Clermont Police Department is hosting a Holiday with Heroes event at Wal-Mart located at 1450 Johns Lake Rd in Clermont from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Dec. 15. It’s an experience where families with children in need will shop with a “hero” and can purchase presents for themselves, their parents and siblings.
This event is made possible through generous donations from some of our community partners.
“What makes our particular event so special is that the children are selected by our very own officers as they serve the community,” said Lt. Malcolm Draper. “Clermont Police Officers, along with city firefighters and paramedics, will help make this a memorable experience for the children.”
Approximately 50 children are expected to participate. We at the Clermont Police Department are proud of our community partners and are happy to give back to the children within our community. This type of event always brings smiles to the children’s faces. Thank you for those that have helped the Clermont Police Department in making this event possible.
