On Tuesday, May 3, 2022, the Clermont Woman’s Club held a luncheon at which they announced and hosted the 2022 scholarship recipients and their proud parents. One Thousand Dollar scholarships were awarded to Isabella White, Lake Minneola HS. She will be attending the University of South Florida; Amari Graham, South Lake HS, who will also be attending the University of South Florida; and Carly Lutzyk, East Ridge HS, who will be attending Florida Atlantic University.
Carol Spaldi, Scholarship Committee Chairman noted, “the recipients are chosen in a blind decision process considering academics, extracurricular activities, school participation, an essay, and because the CWC is a service organization, volunteer activities and community service is also a factor. The caliber and accomplishments of the applicants make the decision process more difficult every year. We congratulate each of these outstanding young women for this milestone”.

It is a non-profit service organization and by fundraising throughout the year, they are able to support international, national and local charities.
