- Staybridge Suites: Plans for construction, located by Chick-Fil-A, on Hwy 27 and Hammock Ridge Road, has been proposed and under consideration by the City of Clermont (follow the Staybridge Suites link indicated above for more information)

- Chipotle Mexican Grill has submitted a site plan to the City of Minneola to build on the last remaining parcel in front of Publix at the corner of Hancock and Citrus Grove Road.
- Nothing Bundt Cake franchise will open in Clermont, at 1670 E. Highway 50, Suite B (by Publix/Citrus Tower Blvd). The popular franchise is known for handcrafted bundt cakes made with real butter, eggs and cream cheese.
- Crumbl Cookes, offering specialty flavored cookies, will be opening next to KeKe’s Breakfast Cafe, on South Hwy 27, Clermont.
