Justin Jeremiah Martin of Real Life Christian Academy received the Ray Goodgame Outstanding Student Leader Award at October’s South Lake Chamber of Commerce Breakfast. The Ray Goodgame Scholarship honors exceptional students in the South Lake area who serve as champions for our community.
Thom Kieft, VP of Facilities Planning and Operations at Lake Sumter State College, told of Justin’s high level of leadership in his academic and athletic endeavors before presenting the award.
Justin is the Vice President of the National Honor Society and has led his student body through efforts of volunteerism. He is a member of the Key Club. And while dominating academically, Justin has flourished on the soccer field leading his varsity soccer team as the player of the game during their competitions. He is a talented member of the Real Life Christian Academy string ensemble. He has completed several AP and honors classes and has maintained a GPA of 4.1.
