Beta Theta ESA held its 16th Mardi Gras Celebration on February 18th at the Clermont Performing Arts Center. Guests arrived in colorful Mardi Gras garb.

The mood was set as guests entered the lobby to music performed by the Lake Minneola High School Jazz Band.

The main ballroom was decorated in purple, gold and green with a beautiful display of silent auction items and tables adorned with beads, feathers and Nothing Bundt Cakes.

Beta Theta president Michelle Delaney thanked everyone for their support in giving back to the community. Clermont Mayor Tim Murry welcomed the guests, and Pastor Dawn Carter of the United Methodist Church said grace before dinner, which was provided by Oakwood Smoke House. The entertainment was provided by Martin Lane Entertainment, Lake Minneola High School Jazz Band, East Ridge High School Rhythm of the Knights, Beta Theta’s Sister Act, and Sister Sandie Stacy as Patsy Cline.

Winners of the costume contest, 50/50 and raffle were announced and guests danced and partied into the night.
