Cypress Ridge Elementary School (CRES) is accepting lottery applications through March 30th for students who will be entering kindergarten through fifth grades during the 2018-19 school year.
CRES is a magnet school for the South Lake community with curriculum emphasizing Digital Readiness, Engineering, Art, Math & Science. Cypress Ridge serves the student population in the following elementary school zones: Astatula, Clermont, Grassy Lake, Groveland, Lost Lake, Mascotte, Minneola, Pine Ridge and Sawgrass Bay Elementary.
If you currently live in one of these school zones and would like to enter the lottery for our school, please stop by the office and complete an application.
Bus transportation is not provided to Cypress Ridge students. Parents must provide transportation. These applications will be accepted through March 30th. The deadline will be at 3 pm on this day.
Applications are available on normal school days from 9 am to 3 pm in the front office. (Schools are closed for Spring Break from March 19th thru March 23rd.) Completed applications must include:
- Proof of Residence (electric or water bill, rental agreement or deed)
- Original birth certificate for Kindergarten (to verify age) and for private school students including homeschooled
- Latest report card for grades 1-5 (to verify grade level)
- Self-addressed, stamped envelope (9 ½” x 4”)
