As in years past, The Kiwanis Club of Clermont along with friends and display sponsors, once again, turned the area around Center Lake into a glittering fantasy.

About The Kiwanis Club of Clermont  It was chartered as one of 7,700 clubs in 80 countries on January 28, 1926. Their motto is “Serving the Children of the World”. The Kiwanis Club of Clermont is proud of its 92 years of service to the community and children in the South Lake area. It is one the oldest and most active service organizations in Lake County.
The Kiwanis Club of Clermont has been serving the children of South Lake County with such programs as “Terrific Kids,” “Bringing up Grades,” “Reading is Fundamental,” Special Olympics and Miracle League. We sponsor The Boys and Girls Club, Prayer Breakfasts, Take Stock in Children Scholarships and Mentoring* as well as an Annual Christmas Party for local needy children. They conduct American Flag installations at Oak Hill Cemetery to honor veterans and Light up Center Lake Christmas Displays in Clermont.
The Club maintains K-Kids, Builders Clubs and Key Clubs in Elementary, Middle and High Schools in the South Lake area. They have co-sponsored an AKTION Club, for adults with special needs, with the South Lake Kiwanis Club in conjunction with Building Blocks Ministries.
