If you received a DNA Kit from your Valentine, now you may want to understand more and trace your family heritage.

Pastfinders of South Lake County, Genealogical Society can help you get started. The beginner class will be held on March 14th and 21st  Both starting promptly at 10 am.

To get started, bring names, dates of births, dates of death, and your parents and grandparents places of residency.

Once both classes are completed, you can continue receiving help with your research on Tuesdays and Thursdays help sessions. Tuesday, March 13, 20, and 27th from 10:30 am – 1 pm, Thursday, March  1, 15 and 22 from 9:30 am – 12 pm.

Pastfinders will provide pointers on using genealogy software or preserving your documents at the Computer User Group once a month on Wednesdays from 1 pm – 3 pm.
